I don't think anybody really believes that KMAG is legit. It's like cheering on the LA Clippers in the 80's. You knew they had no chance but you spent your money so you might as well cheer the losers on.
That or they are simply hoping to trick some poor sucker who is too daft to simply do a little DD.
