I guess I'm being silly in thinking that this should be a safe and comfortable place for Intel fans to hang out. It's not.

This is not an Intel fan board. This is a board where the pros and cons of buying, holding or selling INTC can be debated civilly. I hope I have cleared any misconceptions up.

re: The bottom line for me is that I don't really want to hang out on the ARM board and that is what this has pretty much become. In fact I am pretty irritated over the subversion of this board by the ARM contingent and I find it extremely offensive.

There is a lot of discussion about ARM and its vendors because they pose a real threat. They are doing exactly what Intel did to IBM and suchlike large vendors in the past, pile 'em high, sell 'em cheap.

This isn't an Intel advocacy newsgroup. It is when posters repeat the same stuff too frequently that I get annoyed so if you could stop responding to every little offence you see I would be very grateful thanks. The people you respond to will then not have a reason to post the same old stuff which annoys you again and the loop can be broken or else made much less fast.

Ash has somehow become the sacred cow of the iHub INTC board. If you don't handle your criticism of his bounces very carefully then you get a ball bat used on your sensitivities.

walbert, again, you realize that mas deleted many of "flumoxed2012's" posts, right?

Really, the guy was saying some pretty horrible things. Here are examples of the posts that I and mas "removed" (read quickly, as I'll be removing this post once you have acknowledged it):

Now you have banana republic dictators who remove messages capriciously that don't fit their own persoanl "thesis" even though these messages contain nothing attacking any person, other than their idiotic "thesis".
This board is disgusting.

That's the commoditization of smartphones. And really good ones will become available at the $100 price point. Remember when HP had the early electronic calculators?? My roomate in college sunk $1000 into one of those. I got a more powerful casio a few years later for free opening a checking account. Smartphones are ceasing to be cool, and ceasing to be pricey. Intel's high efficiency production processes will squash the fabless people any day. If QCOM is in any sense squatting on Intel's throne, it's just Antinous squatting on Ulysses throne while he is away fighting the Trojan War..and we all know what happened to Antinous when Ulysses got home. Of course, kids who write SA and MF articles are clueless of history

I now know for a fact that you do not have any intelligence to insult.

So walbert, I thought the three stooges were Aessa, Peter Cho and Kofi Bofah...now I see thay are Aessa, fpg and wbmw. Could these three stooges be the same? We know Aessa is.

I don't mind people whose actions follow their words, if they politely shut up at some point. But Aessaa is the most dishonest person posting...claiming he owns sinificant position in Intel and then kicking it to pieces. What a creep..almost a psychoboy class creep...maybe worse.

These are pretty clear personal attacks. If you can't see it, then I can't really help you.

I agree with you. If these folks that mentioned do analysis of number posts they post. They outnumbered every one else.
I am not sure they realize it.
This board was very good with a lot of technical information along with business reasoning. all that has disappeared.
I used to love to hear from WBMW, Chipguy, Elmar, Samad, Mike, Saturn, and other who name I don't recall. They have stopped posting it completely except a few here and there.
