Thanks for the great post, and please stick around. And, no doubt, contract studios have erratic production schedules and can go dark due to show cancellations, location shoots, or simply scheduling efficiency etc. Q Studios, however, is a network studio complex with daily shows. It went dark because they a major source of their production financing. The re-tooling is a partial excuse at best.

The fact is, they lost a major backer. Someone got the sh-ts of Frank, I'm sure. It wasn't a 're-tooling'. Nobody 'died'. Somebody said, 'Frank, you got enough money from me. No more.' Anyone too surprised at that?
