I don't think you understand. Intel's entire business and margin structure right now relies on a pretty heavy mix of products towards "Core" branded products on the PC client. Bay Trail will earn share, but not bring in margin. Intel needs to do both. If not, they will just accelerate ASP decline, and at some point need to shed significant R&D to keep themselves profitable. At that point, there's no going back to a leadership design house.
One might say the same thing about Nvidia's K1, which only matters in high-end gaming. You obviously care a lot about it. So, why are you giving wbmw grief about this?
