#287261 RE: nopancakemix #287229

I think the problem is that most of the MJ related stocks out there are scams or very close to it, and have a limited lifespan, even if it is dragged out for a few more years. Most don't even know what the companies are about that they're buying into, and are simply buying shares just "because" everyone else is doing so.

Eventually I believe that the Feds will legalize MJ as they should, and most of the companies out there claiming to be in the "business" will be run over and left for dead on the side of the road. The same goes for the shareholders that hold their shares indefinitely.

Big players, companies that have hundreds of millions or even billions to sink into the business will take over the market, and I'm willing to bet that the Feds will encourage big business to take over to avoid all of the small ma @ pa shops. Between now and then (legalization of MJ), I don't see financing being an easy path for expansion for any of these companies, especially for the brick & mortar business trying to build a store brand name.

The companies that have a niche market may survive and do well, but even they might be acquired in the future by one of the big players. Personally I'm not a fan at all of the companies that rely on clinical trials for revenue, but maybe they'll survive as well, especially if they have better management than the majority of the companies that are claiming they're in the MJ business. Time will tell, and I'm just thinking out loud here on the subject.
