Slyder, I think what you're missing is that this is a historic momentum play on what is happening all over regarding MMJ legalization/medical MJ. I've been in others where there's the PR'd meeting that could make or break the company, and lots of touting/hype leading into the meeting, or display at an electronics show....then nothing comes out of that, no major PR announcement, no product sales...then slide.
This is different. Everyone knows in the MMJ environment, the market is becoming greater, greener, larger, more accepting....when you have nearly half the states in the US playing with legislation relaxing MMJ laws and regulations that affect half the people in the US (and the other half will soon follow). Just watch what happens with Colorado...they ran out of MMJ already. Colorado is the envy of their neighbors on all sides for 1) taxes on MMJ they are collecting, and more importantly 2) money that the people from surrounding states are spending in CO (that would otherwise have been spent in the home states....same scenario when gambling/lottery/horse races came to states that didn't have them....the surrounding states soon caved in. They can not afford to have their own people crossing the border to dump their pockets into the neighboring states....the loss of those $$$ will be felt in the home state for sure.
