1)Intel never developed a high density 22nm process
2)libraries had to be converted to FinFet. Others still have to do this.

Process is an enabler, not the be all, end all.

probably like speed in football I would imagine..good to have..but not the final determinant in whether you are going to be all-pro..or even make the team
