simply based on confusion. this 'RECORD date" and the info put out by companies misleads people into beleive they have to be the shareholder of record on the record date. people sell after the record date and before the ex date.

on the otc and pinks you IGNORE all dates but the ex date. IF you want the divvy you own it the day before the ex date. If you are unsure and that is reasonable and it is not a flip for you then hold it on the record date through the ex date.

for example the bid ask is essentially what it was yesterday it should be about .002 x.0022 or something assuming yesterday close was a valid price. based on the pps I would say most assumed that jan 7 was the date.

anyway if I could see level 2 size of that .006 bid I would hit it right now with my 150k and hope for the 300k divvie to come in at some point. If it doesnt its two side commish plus a minor loss.
