Yeah, that NI 43-101 BS is rife everywhere. Funny how the SEC and Canadian regulators have a completely different opinion then that misinformed poster.
Every country has their own regulation that issuers there must comply with. NI 43-101 only applies to Canadian issuers, because the first rule of the law is that to be NI 43-101 compliant, the documents must be filed with, and reviewed by, Canadian regulators. US companies cannot comply with NI 43-101 because they don't file in Canada. That is a very basic concept that most anyone should be able to grasp. But oddly, so many message posters can't seem to do it.
