It just goes to show how much the analysts understand about implementation. But Dempsey does come with the benefit of being a generational performance leap over Paxville (3.73GHz / 2x2M cache / 1067 dual FSB vs. 2.8GHz / 2x1M cache / 800 solo FSB), and it will be priced throughout the entire segment stack, as opposed to Paxville's position at the top-bin price point (which is no doubt seriously impacting price/performance). Bensley also comes with FBD, more PCI-Express connections, new RAS functionality, new management features, I/OAT, power management, etc etc etc. It will improve Intel's server competitive position by leaps and bounds.
