UPDATE: Vringo (VRNG) to Receive 6.5% Patent Royalty Rate from Google (GOOG)

Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) told to pay Vringo (Nasdaq: VRNG) a patent royalty rate of 6.5 percent, according to Bloomberg headlines.

The rate was set by a judge in Norfolk, Va., after the two sides were unable to come to an agreement. The rate will cover ongoing royalties for sales of Google's AdWords.

Of course they will appeal. But interesting to see a judge actually act. RMBS about killed me with boredom waiting for a judge to act.
