It's basically just the number of outstanding shares that are unrestricted and available to the public (85.7 million for TFER). But I'm guessing post #2817 is actually referring to what is called the "spread." The spread is the difference between the highest bid price and the lowest ask price. Right now, the bid is .0009 and the ask is .0014, so the spread is .0005. The reference to the float being "locked" probably is intended to mean when the spread narrows to .0001 (for instance, if the bid is .0012 and the ask is .0013).I expect the spread for TFER will probably narrow rather quickly once trading begins tomorrow.
