You should acquaint yourself with SPEC rules.

I suggest you had better review them. Patches are allowed in software tools. Else how do changes and upgrades get allowed? Patches applied are also allowed for the operating system. And you can run a post processor tool as long as the source code is available and the tool does the same thing for all code. Replacing all cases of "GenuineIntel" with "AuthenticAMD" is just such an allowed post process. As its applied equally to all code generated, its even allowed for base scores.

You know even a modern loader in any OS replaces all addresses in a program with relocated ones depending on where its loaded when you run any program. And if thats not allowed, no one could run any programs at all. So just on the face of it, your objection is pure nonsense. Some web sites even include the patchers source code and runtime program, when they write about this typical patch. So its not like the software is unavailable.
