I had a long conversation with Mark last week on the issue of Press Releases and News for investors. I was extolling the importance of providing them frequently, with the understanding that they shouldn't be useless “fluff”. His own IR people don’t want to issue press releases unless they are “meaningful”, which is subject to interpretation and can be very subjective. I simply urged as much transparency as possible, and to provide news on any positive events or progress that might be influential to investors.

I also recommended that they use the reporting services of Dow Jones, Marketwatch.com, PR Newswire, and/or Briefing.com. At this time they’re only using Globenews as a reporting service. We’ll see if they perform.
