The big deal is that he corrected this two weeks after the news came out and the PPS shot up by nearly 300%. He only said Forbes misquoted him after someone outright asked him on FB if Health Canada granted him authorization. It does make me wonder if no one had asked him bluntly, would he have continued to keep silent?

And in his latest PR - the one about Detroit - do you see any corrections about that Forbes article?? No, he went so far as to say the article "clearly articulates his vision".

"MADISON HEIGHTS, MI / January 13, 2014 / ACCESSWIRE / Creative Edge Nutrition Inc. (PINKSHEETS: FITX) is proud to announce that it was the subject of a feature story in Crain’s Detroit Business Magazine.

On December 30, 2013 Forbes Magazine did a feature story on Creative Edge Nutrition Inc. and its medical marijuana subsidiary CEN Biotech Inc.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/karstenstrauss/2013/12/30/big-marijuana-is-it-the-future

Bill Chaaban, CEO stated, “It is very exciting for us to be featured in two very high profile business publications. As a publicly traded company it is very exciting to offer people the opportunity to get involved in the investing in medical marijuana grow operation in a legal capacity. The articles clearly articulate our companies vision to become one of the largest commercial medical marijuana producers in the world.”

Now, the Detroit PR - http://www.crainsdetroit.com/article/20140112/NEWS/301129975/firm-looks-to-light-up-pot-sales-with-canadian-unit

He is quoted as saying: "The company is doing the final build-out stage of its indoor hydroponic grow operations and, once finished, will go through government inspections for security, quality and tracking as part of the final approval process. "

Final buildout? They haven't even started.

"CEN Biotech, which sits on farmland next to a provincial police station, consists of a "compound" of several buildings, including steel barns for the greenhouses and administrative offices, Chabaan said. Some 58,000 square feet of greenhouse space is being added to an existing 27,000 square feet of space, for a total build-out cost of $12 million. "

Actually, there are just two "compounds"right now - the studio and the office.

Now, according to the contractor - the pole barn will cost about $800,000. The build out cost of 12M is extraordinarily high for a company that may not get approved from Health Canada and is only leasing the land upon which the facility is located. I researched other firms that are applying, they are keep their costs low just in case they don't get approved. Their build costs range from between 1M to 3M.

You can't see what the big deal is because it is just that, not a big deal at all. People focus too much on small details such as every vowel and consonant in every PR and expect hourly updates from the CEO. It's ridiculous. No company works that way, minor miswordings are commonplace in journalism, and they should just let Bill do what he is clearly doing well, strategically and sequentially. No doubt they'll obtain the license after building is done, that will be the easy part. How someone can watch that press conference video and not see the bigger picture with the Mayor backing the project/Bill, as well as the regional economic/business development sector backing and veteran police chief heading up the security aspect, and how they can not understand that this is clearly going happen is beyond me. The more people they shake out, the more buy orders will be entered by me...
