Selling advertising primarily. That's how TV exists. Magazines and newspapers would die without ads. Although, I understand, they do charge for their issues. My community, like many others distribute a weekly paper that is nothing but ads, and it is delivered free to my doorstep. It's one those those shoppers. Ours is called the Foxxy Shopper. All revenue generated from ads. Red Giant has more going for it than this, but there's a lot of money to be made to be made with their free giant size line.

u get parade free wit ur news paper ever sunday morn.... old fogies read it.... not the yout demograph giant sized line is targeted on that advertisers pay the big dollas for.....

an they charge 1 million dollas for a fullpage advert

thats a quarter what foxtv charges for a superbowl ad once yearly

but parade does dat sheet every effin week
