We cannot sell MPDD to non physicians. The device msrp is $12000 and training packages and educational fees are added. The device will last indefinitely with good care. There is a CPT code 20999 for billing and it is around $50-80. There may be others coming or in use I am not aware of as yet.Plus doctors can bill separate for trigger point injection. Doctors may also choose to bill directly to the patients if they desire.

No they do not have to purchase updates, but it is recommended.

I was wondering what is the CPT code used for the MPDD device and what is the average reimbursement by insurance and medicare etc. that providers are getting with use of the device.

What is the device selling for??

How long will the device last (i.e. 5 years, 7 years, etc?? )

If a device is purchased by a physician and there are updates do they have to purchase the updates??
