Ran across your board here, very interesting concept... I was doing some number crunching and am unable to come up with the same numbers as yourself. Let's take the VRTS 2003 Nov-Jan timeframe from your chart as an example:

VRTS
open on 10/31/02 = 15.25
close on 1/31/03 = 18.25

I get 19.7% gain for that period, how did you get 22%?
