They didn't shut down, They stopped live productions for two weeks to prep for the Gay games. Since one of QTN's backers died, they are short of funding temporarily.
Put those two together, and the rumor mill goes wild.
I don't see anything bad at the moment, Verizon just signed a carrier agreement, and I expect the studio to go back to live productions mid Feb as planned.
No facts out there at the moment to indicate anything different..
