also too much vasodilation can be a bad thing,
that's why PDE5 inhibitors can cause sudden dramatic hearing loss due to too much blood flow in the ears, a rare side effect though

Vitaros could not do that cause it's non-systemic, only effects the tissue locally cause it dissipates very rapidly, like 30 seconds,
however, even injected it could never effect the whole body for athletic enhancement, that said, I certainly would not rub it behind my ears.
