It can happen,as unlikely it may be.

debt holders are converted into shares, but their pay out is fixed.

I.E. AAL ows the union X amount of dollars, does not matter what the PPS is they get paid. same with all debt holders. the pay out is fixed.

what we are see'ing is a push on price per share for AAMRQ holders. the higher it goes, the more shares we get

the plato is a 1 for 1
