Progressive finds AMGEN 900 listing Kevetrin in patent
June 26, 2013 Beverly, MA — 06/26/13 — Cellceutix Corporation (OTCBB: CTIX) (the “Company”), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering small molecule drugs to treat unmet medical conditions, including drug-resistant cancers and autoimmune diseases, announces today that the Company has signed a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) with The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (“MD Anderson”). Per the MTA, Cellceutix will provide MD Anderson with Kevetrin, the Company’s novel anti-cancer drug candidate, for laboratory research of Kevetrin as a potential new treatment for Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma.
If I am doing the math right, 10 billion would put the SP in the 90's. The acquiring company could always pay in stock, if they don't have the cash. Shareholders that don't want the acquiring company's stock could always cash out.
I wonder if Leo is not willing to sell to any of these large pharmas, if they could still take a 5 or 10% stake by buying stock on the open market. Does this ever happen?
