yep, centered, grounded, go with the flow, was/is a favorite of mine, not so much now as i realized back when that could be seen as not covering 'don't react' .. 'don't react' became a favorite, and was appreciated by most all students after a little one-on-one chat with a little one who was being disruptive in class .. their favorite line was "he made me do it" .. so after a chat with sometimes, depending on how tough the one was .. something like this
even when that one was not appropriate for a normally quieter kid i didn't feel to talk tough to, 'don't react' always came in .. "who is in control of your head" worked well, too .. lol, it does because they ALWAYS said, "I am" .. sooo, ok, then 'don't react' because when you do who is controlling your head then? .. they got the picture, and most times it ended very satisfying as most took the 'don't react' tip away with them .. yep, we are on the same page for sure, F6 .. good chat, thanks ..
ps: over years many times with adults, too .. with neighbors .. lol .. many times suggested it to both 'wife and husband' .. women first, eh .. lol .. sounds different doesn't it .. just because most all say 'husband and wife' ..
