If the NP-1 does what it is advertised to be able to do, one would think Dave would be in a stand at the top of the booth display with a bullhorn in his hand yodeling at folks to come take a look at "The World's First Streaming 4K UltraHD Media Player" with 10 NP-1's connected to 10 different brands of TV's...

Hello...What folks who GET what NTEK has been SAYING
ALL ALONG here...Only NTEK is proving they can STREAK 4K
at bandwidths that make the average U.S. internet user
ABLE TO ACCESS the technology without ANY ADDITIONAL
internet charges, fees, increases in bandwidth etc.

This is the WHOLE POINT!! (Ingram Micro, LumaForge, Foxconn etc)

The worlds best and first native 4k streaming device NUVOLA NP1 and NPH1
Requires a minimum of 6mps downlod stream capacity! THATS WHY NETFLIX AND YOUTUBE LIKE THE NUVOLA. And 80% of the CES 4k TV Exhibitors use the Nuvola NPH1 behind the curtain to showcase their TVs.
The NP1 is fully wireless and bluetooth capable, has a android honeycomb so you can download 4k games and 3d etc, has 2usb, and ethernet and HDMI
IS COMPATIBLE WITH ANY TV, UNLIKE THE SONY STREAMER THAT RUNS WITH THEIR SYSTEMS ONLY. AND COST ONLY $299 a pop compare to sony 699 a pop
AND MOST IMPORTANDLY THIS IS NOT AN UPSCALER IT IS A NATIVE 4k STREAMING Device! THATS IMPORTANT TO KNOW,

Very interesting article...then if Nuvola can do what it says it should be a success provided there is decent content.

I spoke to this Dan guy who wrote the article. Kind of a DB. Quite rude as well. He's talking about the "content Provider" needing to specifically "encode" their content to work w/ the NP-1.

I believe he needs to have a talk to some of the other "industry professionals" as he's supposed to be.

If someone would like to give him a call and see if his "talk" is valid, here you go:
contact

David Foley, Can you have a quick discussion w/ this guy and see if what he's saying has merit?

I asked him if what he's saying is that the "NP-1 won't work unless the content providers specifically "encode" (bit rate) their content to work specifically w/ the Nuvola"....so it can stream from 6-10 Mbps.

Quote: "It won't work".

Let's get this issue completely out of the way immediately. He will write another article (OPINION) on whether "it will work" or "not".

Maybe someone can get D. Foley on the phone for a quick answer to this "blog post".

Here.

I have yet to see a single vendor even mention it No service like 4K streaming will ever come to the masses and survive if both the technical and business challenges aren’t worked out. I don’t doubt that the technical side of 4K streaming will be solid as there are a lot of vendors in the industry who excel in the encoding and compression segment of the market. But so far, vendors are not talking about how they are going to convince content owners to actually adopt 4K streaming and what the benefit is to them for doing so. How does streaming something in 4K instead of HD help the content owners business?

My answer to that is NTEK and what they're doing right now.....making deals! Licensing, royalties, purchasing content out right......etc....or whatever their "Business Plan" is.

I'm sure NanoTech Ent has all this worked out and their business plan is falling perfectly into place.

Can't wait to hear back.....

This author is outright against 4k period. He worries how companies like youtube netflix amazon etc how much it cost them to stream a movie to our homes!
What an idiot, if they couldnt afford that or they wouldnt think there was a market then they would not even started to talk about doing 4k
Or all the TV VENDORS WITH THEIR 4 k models, do you think they gave up 3d for 4k if they thought there was no market?

But, again this is ONE PERSONS OPINION AND HEVWRITES THE BLOG

THIS IS NOT REPRESENTATIVE OF ANY TREND

ITS THE SAME AS MY POST

ITS MY OPINION

FACT IS NP1 streams 4 k at 6 to 10 mps thats all that counts
