I tend to subscribe to the opinion that no attorney is adequately prepared to represent you and you must have someone there to interpret and present the facts so the attorney will get it. The attorneys are necessary to the extent that you need them to lay out the legal plan of attack and deal with the court mumbo jumbo. It looks to me like the Calypso attorneys in the appeal process are now sufficiently aware of the issues. It remains to be seen whether it is too late or not. We'll know sometime around the first of Feb and possibly an opinion will be forthcoming within a week after the hearing. I believe the judges will have almost made up their minds by the time the hearing is held and unless the attorneys present some radically different information, a decision will be put out in short order. I don't see anyone willing to settle unless the case gets remanded back to the lower court for trial. If that happens, I think Tmob gets very concerned. Tmob could lose this case if put before a jury.
