I've applied for patents before. The wait on finalization isn't necessary. They just need to get it filed with the US Patent office. Once filed, they can state their invention. You have a date tagged with it so nobody else can rush a patent before.

It would be foolish not to apply for one by NTEK if they really have something Unique that "they" discovered or created.

I think a patent takes years to obtain.



Sometimes, but they should at least have the frameworks established and verifable - "patent pending"
