I would think controlled by computer sure. I don't know how they would get around a bid for the same amount that was there in the first place. It looks like to me that some MMs get priority in the selling order over bids already in. Sales lower than the top bid I understand, but not same-same and the new bid gets sold first, I still believe that "whomever" is by and large selling to themselves, there is Zero opportunity to buy these very low and quick sales (for you and I)
The same with asks, I have seen MMs show up ahead of others that were already there or they will let some sale pass in front (sell before) and go back to a false wall (just saw that at another ticker) blocking others.
Folks that say MMs don't play games and are just filling orders are mistaken. Here in OTC land the FTC is a like the lawman in a town far away and we are in no mans land, The Wild West OTC.
