you speak as though I am unaware that the "bad guys" are winning.....
the difference between us is the solution.....
you rely upon the debate.....and, thereby have fallen into their trap.....
that's why they are winning.....
they will debate you ad infinitum....and, when you prove that a change should be made or an injustice has been perpetrated, they will ignore you, lie to your face, and continue on their path of lawlessness unimpeded....
they will suffer no penalty for their action(s)....
and, all we do is shake our heads....and, accept the "new status quo".....
they have neutralized you by the great efforts they make to insure that all of us abhor bodily harm and violence while at the same time setting no example for civil punishment in cases of wrong-doing (i.e. jail time for lawlessness)....thereby, they effectively shield themselves and their plan....
and, we allow it.....
I believe in the basics.....
we as human beings have not evolved to that higher sphere of intelligence and respect for one another....no matter what anyone states with self acclaimed academic smugness and conceit....
look at the atrocities of WWII and the current destruction by terrorism.....
therefore, to effect change, the "hand-writing on the wall" tells you/me/us that results will be gained ONLY by using the lowest common denominator i.e. the universal language of terror and fear....
I DO NOT advocate it....nor like it.....but, the fact remains civility, reasonability, give and take, and debate has proven ineffective.....
so, "where I live" is in a world which says 'you have to do what must be done'......like it or not.....
if we can vote them out...all the better.....but, it doesn't look like that's going to happen
