The problem facing the Colorado weed tourism industry is that the tourists will initially have no place to smoke.. The current law means smoking in public is still illegal and there are no social areas where you can smoke so residents will be forced to smoke in the privacy of their homes initially..
This means hotels will be forced to consider creating cannabis friendly hotel rooms or smoking areas. and also opens the opportunity for business' like the coffee shops in amsterdam that will allow customers to light up in a social environment. Shouldn't be a problem for long since there will be business' who fill this gap but initially it could be a problem for out of staters looking to come to CO for MJ
