While I agree with what you had to say in general I think that there may be more to this story. You can check out some of my posts from back in October and November 2002 to find some discussion on my "naked short theory" which evolved as a result of reading most of the early posts on this board and noting the number of comments about the mystery of where all the volume was coming from ... and from trying to find some logical reason for the presence of the bashers on the other board.
In summary, my theory is that a sizable naked short position was established very shortly after CSMA was acquired and Veltex went public ... at then current share prices in the $1.00 range and continuing down to around $0.50.
While naked shorting is not legal in this country it is legal elsewhere ... including Canada.
I think that the holders of the naked short position established back then thought they were home free when Mr. Matin closed up shop in the US and returned to Bangladesh several years ago to care for the activities at the mills.
When he returned to the US last year and got Veltex underway again the bashers came out in force ... to protect their naked short position IMO. I can find no other reason for them being as tenaciously involved as they have been.
