I can be as juvenile as anyone. I try not to be, though. Red Giant should never have addressed the juvenile remarks in that video. It was a bit juvenile of them to do so. I'm also still perplexed why it had to be shot in HD, most of the video is Benny sitting stiffly talking and occasionally waving his left hand about. They might have had an easier time uploading it if they just put a photo of him and just put an audio file up. It isn't like the other staff and board members appeared or he showed off some of their new books.
Yes, cheer-leading is everywhere, that doesn't make it less annoying. It's especially annoying when the share price is falling for months and cheer-leading continues with each drop.. And, I also agree some things do go a bit far (especially implying people should get off the board or sell their stock), I did defend Benny last night (to the extent I could).
While thing at Red Giant didn't change in the last week, things can change drastically once information is released.
There does seem to be a disproportionate response when people express negative opinions. I've been subjected to a lot of it myself.
