Note the fact that NOBODY requested they be on "your" list that is now controlled by you. Sure, they can reply with unsubscribe, but then you've got their IP address. Who knows what you might do with that. You were distasteful enough to steal a list, why not play with IP addresses, eh?

You stole the list. You sent out an e-mail trashing IDCC (videos) to the people that requested they be on Jim's list, not yours. Now you are telling someone how to manage the list they created and you stole?
You are a class act.
You are lucky this incident took place away from IH.
My suggestion: Be a man. Admit you were dead wrong. Destroy the list you have. Never send a single thing out on it again, apologize for forcing everybody on it and sending an e-mail to them for something they didn't ask for. You might earn just an ounce back of respect from them. Probably not, but it's a move in the right direction.
