when you look at the tapering the US Fed just announced, it was akin to moving around the deck chairs on the Titanic after it was struck by the iceberg. It doesn’t make any difference because it’s already too late. The fact is they are still printing $75 billion a month because they are trying to keep the system from collapse, and if they have to print $150 billion a month they will.
Whatever is required, they will do it, and eventually they will have to print $150 billion a month. But the tapering was all orchestrated, and the stock market shoots up and gold gets hit again. This is just preposterous. The fact that they have been printing all of this money is so that the banking system won’t implode, and they will continue to print and eventually print more than $85 billion because if they don’t the whole banking system will collapse.
Are you going to credit any of that data to the last administration crashing the economy and the current congress any and all attempts to stimulate it?
Of course not. It's Obama's fault. Austerity was his idea.
I notice in your screed you called said Obama lied about closing Guantanamo. Actually he did order it closed. Congress refused to authorize any funds for it. Should Obama have written a personal check?
Perhaps we should raise some taxes and pass the highway bill. Think Obama hasn't tried?
