This is often the way with paradigm shifting things... maybe you are correct and it does not work, is not possible and so on... maybe it not only works, but changes everything in the course of it and can only be fully understood within that context of a paradigm shift... my experience suggests that people working out of the old paradigm... which would include most tech professionals today... would struggle to see the new paradigm... if ANY truly means ANY... then the old world will soon wash away... if it doesn't then the old paradigm remains for awhile yet... the boys at Sphere 3D are ambitious to be sure... are they also brilliant or are they delusional regarding what is possible... the market will decide that over time... the line between genius and crazy is razor thin... glta...
