The PR announces a new MOU with Michigan Tech which has not been announced before. The agreement was reached sometime Friday and announced today, Monday.
This is positive news as it shows Michigan Tech wants to use Sigma Labs technology to enable their product.
Public companies are under an obligation to announce activities and this is a new activity.
None of these recent PRs are "fluff" as the company is simply announcing its activities. If it didn't, there would be howls of outrage at the company for keeping these things secret.
The Dec. 16th PR is the signing of a Joint Technology Development Agreement (JTDA) with Metronic Systems, LLC
The November 18th PR was about the extension of a contract with Honeywell Aerospace that generates actual revenues right now (and is part of a DARPA project).
The November 14th PR is about a "patent on advanced dental implant technology thereby enabling commercialization to proceed unencumbered."
All these are substantive PRs.
