What argument? Anyway the company only had $90 million in total funding, how does that sort of amount make anything which produces a SoC big? I don't know how much value the people who paid for it got out of it but they might be quite happy with what they have already got rather than considering it a big loss. They obviously didn't consider it worth pushing further though.
