You are exactly right big' About 6 years ago I was a new born baby in the stock market. I jumped in with both feet and up to my neck. I've learned the hard way. Of course I have been lucky too on a few occasions. A couple years ago I received some good advice. Stocks are to be bought and sold.. unless you're in a few for the dividends only. Otherwise, if you like a stock, establish a base of stocks, take a percentage of that base and play the market, whether it be options or day trading.
Alas, there are always exceptions to every rule.
Walmart, IBM and Intel are good examples. However, SEEK is now in that category. It has nowhere to go but up.
