The notebook part is a little bit odd given how good Core Duo
performance should be. Perhaps Dell will use AMD X2 chips in
DTR notebooks which should make them pretty affordable.

Assuming there's any validity to this report, which I seriously doubt, it's perplexing why Dell would intro. K8 in their mobile lineup. Being tied to Intel leaves their x64 mobile line nonexistent. Perhaps they fear losing DTR market share and are yet comfortable with AMDs ability to meet their volume requirements in this niche.
