CMMobile Upgrades to 4G LTE
December 09, 2013: VelaTel Global Communications announces that its wholly owned subsidiary in Hong Kong, China Motion Telecom (HK) Limited (“CMMobile”), has entered into a contract with ZTE Corporation to upgrade the hardware and software of CMMobile’s network core.
The NOC (Network Operation Center) upgrade is underway and allows CMMobile to offer subscribers 4G LTE services. The upgrade will increase the NOC capacity to support all additional customers projected from current and future partners, including additional Value Added Services CMMobile will be able to offer to existing and new customers.
The upgrade contract also includes continuous Training, Support and Maintenance to be provided by ZTE over the two years following completion of the upgrade. The upgrade will give CMMobile customers a truly great 4G LTE experience, and will enable CMMobile to aggressively expand its target customer base of international travelers.
