Additionally, you must take into consideration the rig Treaty Energy purchased was second hand from a former owner who couldn't kept track of where it was or who it was with until it was purchased by Treaty (according to court testimony in Federal Court) and wound up in Belize. You really can't say it was well maintained, which could have caused delays in drilling for maintenance.

I agree there are many differences, but both company's objective must have been to drill each well as quickly and cheaply as possible.

The 36 days in fact is world leading performance.

The 270 days I quote smacks of incompetence. IMO
