@Neye
Heh man, long time not seen. Best wishes and who is getting
fired for taking a nice profit? Good luck.

BTW: I'm holding and I doesn't think even a second of selling ...

you...

so, i got in at $14.99, envious of you $4 folks of course... I'm thinking about maybe letting amd take a breather. It's been quite the run. You know, the whole "you don't go broke taking a profit" ideology.

me...

So what's you game plan besides just selling? What are you going to buy that's better and why?

neye_eve, on possible sale

I think the secondary offering at $35.20 is quite telling. Those institutions expect to make more than $6 a share gain. Their clients are going to be real happy with AMD with the initial gains. I think the sailing is clear until we get to perhaps a 40% on that sale. Let's see -- $35.20 + 40% = $49.28. Hmmm. Breaks the all-time high.

So I think the ride to about $47 will be fairly smooth, after that you'll see more upheaval.

Of course, we also have good news jumps possible on Dell, technology and the lawsuit and bad news slumps possible on any number of things.

neye_eve, hi, it's been a while. Do you want to take profit now or on weakness in the stock in the near future? I wouldn't do the first unless you expect the stock to fall off a cliff, the second maybe.
