Congratulations to all AAMRQ longs that have held long and strong even through the tough times to hold...through the DOJ news of the law suit that tanked it so bad, and even through todays last minute selloff...
l am relieved this is now out of my day to day babysitting and l can dedicate my attention to more pressing matters. Monitoring global economic activities continue, as the macro vibrations can impact some of my 50 stocks in my portfolio.
Always being prepared, l may short a sister weaker airline if troubles abrew for the airline sector to hedge my AAL holding...doubt that will happen but will be on the lookout...have a couple in mind.
l have learned a lot in my AAMRQ investment...first most that l could actually make money in an airline stock...many say otherwise...secondly, many maintain bk commons are always cancelled...lol
Love it.
Now we longs be stockholders of the world's largest airline upon merger, which, is pretty much a done deal. Paperwork needs to be completed, but most certainly, l look forward to the blue skies ahead.
