GNCP - Actually, buying at the ask and selling at the bid is how they successfully do this.

Bid sitters will help them do this. If anyone here already has a substantial position it is a really bad idea to cut your own throat and bid sit. BUY ON ASK SELL ON ASK!

Bid sitting forces them to short into the bid, or cover into the ask.
