They may not list Sigma Labs by name on that website, and we'll have to wait for SGLB to tell us if they are part of the group or not or wait for this article to come up regarding the new award.
If you look at the bottom, B6Sigma was part of a team of 23 additional collaborators (aside from the main 3, consisting of a non-profit, university, and a manufacturing company). By the way, General Electric Aviation (the guys at GE SGLB is working with) are also part of this collaboration group.
Don't be discouraged by the large number of collaborators (26). This is not just about money. It's about SGLB being in the mix with universities and the private sector.
The intellectual world is small, and even smaller when you are talking about people with PHDs working in metallurgy. That's good for us, because that means everyone knows who Mark Cola and his team is.
I just hope that the business side of Sigma will be squared away. And I think it's starting to happen. Their website even looks better now...
