Actually, there are claims and speculation that the Valimed can be hooked up to an IV drip, and assure that the compound is monitored and assure that the IV is is what it is supposed to be and that it is sterile.

Now how can it tell if it is sterile if it cannot identify any Unknown pollutants?? How can it tell, in dilute, if any one of the medicines is there and of the correct dosage?

"What if you had ten different meds that looked alike and the signature for each med was in the Valimed library.

Can Valimed identify one of the unknown meds without the operator telling the machine what it's checking?

I would think so if the programming was worth it's salt, it would be a matter of searching the library for a match."

Nothing in the BAXA FAQ re "scanning" for a match, DIDDY. but to scan for a match through all the signatures, taking 30 to 90 seconds per stop on the scan could take a heap of time..remember that each medicine includes s validation for "strength"

"Can Valimed deduce the molecular structure of an unknown drug or compound, thereby identifying it?

Absolutely NOT IMO."

Thanks DIDDY..also CISCOs post, below.
