Pre..Mountains or ranges? I have not called the English Pit yet. I was going to go yesterday but Wife came down with migraine. I would assume that they would be on summer hours by now.
I personally want the mountains. I don’t care if we can’t reach the spot. Go until the tire tracks stop in the snow then block off the road with our trucks and set up a range. The road curves every 100-300 yards hell we could do long ranges shooting into a backstop...... A little cold and snow never bothered me. Texan friend of mine thinks it'll cause him to melt. I can't get him up on the mountains for nothing.
Johnson Creek is ok. If we go when nobody else is there we can fire our .454's. However every time I go there I get sick due to improper ventilation. I am going to allow my membership to expire this year.
Your choice, my vote is for the mountain. Sometime this week I have a baseball game but that’s at 6:00 pm in the evening.
