What may be good for the company may not necessarily be good for shareholders IMO good to know that difference

Ablivious think of this like early 80's showtime

the naysayers/bashers/mm's etc are seizing on the tangible fear of the unknown right now w/ phot. Along w/ the picayune & perplexing particulars of accounting.

look, as i'm sure you know, there is real risk here. they're sitting on quite a large caravan of shares & soon to be shares. & company executives have real pressure on them to now execute an up tempo 4th qrt offensive attack or see red ink drown them in blood.

we're no longer in pre season, the regular schedule has started & inturn you can already sense we have entered into a high risk contest. we are a team w/ a history, but so far little to show for it.

But we are also a unit who has put our balls on the table & our Eye on the mast & are ready to lay claim to seasons infront of us.

consider this, not long ago, we were much like the '78-'79 Lakers. Saddled w/ only one established product in a dispirited Kareem. Bottled up w/ no other tangible teammate support & locked inside a industry w/ little tv exposure & lack of fans.

then vision & industry convergence started to quickly emerge on the horizon.

the team then got vision & guts & went out & spent shrewd $ on Magic & inturn establishing their ball facilitating GIFT.

they then combined the front court w/ the acquistion of Big Game James Worthy on the wing w/ the the kiosk rollout allowing quick point runs & 4th qrt surges.

finally, add to that the missing brain trust piece of Riles & Jerry 'the logo' West in the form of our executives & new finaciers. One w/ the hunger & guts to execute & the other w/ the past experience of rings & insatible hunger for more, as the catalyst to push this all forward to acquire rings (inked contracts).

who is the buss family in all of this??? ... the eye on the mast. The vison plan of a executive Ethos to adapt & seize a fan base w/ the potential to leave traditional sports like baseball in the rear mirror.

where does that leave you, me & any other shareholders who ultimately are risking our coin to see this thru???

We are the anti bandwagon fans. The ones who had to watch a pre magic johnson team struggle in past playoffs in a fan deprived league, late at nite on delayed broadcast. Yet we stuck, trusted & saw the pieces put quickly together.

so now we wait as this season just starts its late fall early uptick. we've help put forth the risk & trusted the vision in bringing onboard a team, coaching & managament to scale up into what they perceive as an unprecedented go go '80's sports market...

now the ball is simply in their court.

If we can get rings via the skyhook, no look passes & fastbreak finishes of store revs, GIFT & Kiosk then we can bask in the glory of 3peat showtime.

If we blunder, then we can join the Ewing 'big hat, no cattle' roadkill knicks w/ empty seats & piled debt.

bottomline, if you want to succeed in the big leagues, you have to put the coin forward & trust the vision. Coaching staffs, manag & investors are given a 1-2 yr grace period to make it happen. If they do, w/ a growth market potential we have in this industry, then they can become Legends. If they fail, they can flameout w/ the same magnitude of infamy.

the ball & season just got rolled out last month. playoffs in spring, rings passed out in the summer. hope we can pop some bubbly this summer.

risk/reward.
