You raise a good question snukoled ......when does Elite get bought out??? In essence, given Elite's ART technology and that Purdue previously almost partnered with Elite.....what is it going to take for a Big Pharma to take little old Elite seriously once again????
By the looks of things that would depend on what Epic had to say about the matter given the poison pill situation......Nasrat is a sharp one. Retires from Actavis and signs on as Elite's CEO for three years.....guess we know the timeline under which Elite gets bought out......being bought out IMO has to do with Elite marketing one ART product and garnering some serious money on that product first.
By the looks of things that first product is going to be Elite's 2 bead ART opioid......and Nasrat said roughly marketed by the end of 2015. I don't get the sense that Elite is going to be able to get through that Phase III FDA trial for their signature product without getting bought out first.
The alternative......Actavis sets up a three drug deal.....Twice daily, once daily, and a better Embeda!
...then you end up having Mik001 being a Hydromorph/Nal signature product! $$$$$$$$$
