All I know is AS does influence share price. A lot. In both directions. If you want to say it only matters where there is manipulation, then it's in the sense that the whole OTC is "manipulated." If the majority of the market thinks AS is important, then it will have a big effect; and the majority does, and it doesn't matter if they "should" have that opinion or not. They do, and so AS affects pps significantly.
