I agree, nothing wrong with being a shorter, and one can make a bunch of money. I wouldn't do it though, too risky.

Actually there is a guy out there, a disciple of Timothy Sykes I believe or trained by him, who has a web site that documents his many trades where he shorts these bucket shop promotions. He does quite well at it.

He does point out that you better time it right, don't short at the beginning of the pump.
